Welcome to Amazin’ Moments, the un-official New York Mets Baseball Podcast. This is where fans of the New York Mets pro baseball team get their fix.

I very much agree with your comments on Wright. I’m not too worried.
What has got me worried is losing 4 out of 6 to the braves so far…

Is it me, or is David Wright a pretty streaky hitter? When he’s in a slump, he just looks like he’s not up there with confidence, and sometimes missing badly at pitches. I hope it’s not leftover effects from his somewhat poor performance in the playoffs. But anyway, I agree, I’m confident he’ll pick it up and go on a tear when some of the other guys start slumping.

What has got me worried is that there is no one else to send in Except Heilman or Mota. I bet the fans and the players from the opposing teams are happy when these guys come into the game. It is almost a sure thing that they are going to score runs and a lot of them.

I think we might be able to lead Sosa and Feliciano into Billy Wagner. Its worth a try!
