well the game just ended on a sad note… I was quite impressed by Perez and I think if he works hard in the offseason and a full spring training with Peterson he will be a great pitcher once again… So now that it’s ok to think to next season I think if Glavine wants to go we should respect that… he is good to have around but he’s not what he used to be.. mind you he is still good though… but without Glavine the rotation is left with Pedro (after June), Maine, Perez… I know I forgot to mention Zambrano I say trade him to anyone willing to take him… we have plenty of pitchers and should go and get either Zito, Schmidt or Matsuaka (or however you spell it).. anyway’s it’s been a great season and I can’t wait until next year… I will be cheering for the Tigers as most of my family has been (I’m the black sheep).. but as always I will be saying LET’S GO METS!!!

Devastating.
Absolutely horrible.
I had no doubts that the Mets would win tonight. Even in the ninth. Even with two outs. I cannot believe that they didn’t pull it out.
1. The pitching tonight was incredible. The Mets did a great job pitching throughout the game.
2. I hate so many Cardinals now. From Pojuls to Eckstein to Molina to Rolen… okay I’ve hated Rolen for a while.

Is it too early to think about next year?
1. I can’t wait until Spring Training so we can go after Pujol for his behavior during this series – running the Floyd ball to first base instead of throwing it.
2. I’ve felt throughout the year that this is the last year that Heilman will be in the pen for the Mets. Either he’ll be a starter next year, or he’ll ask to be traded.
3. Is it the end for the Mets and…
a. Michael Tucker
b. Jose Valentin
c. Julio Franco

This series kills. I think i’be rooting for the American League in the World Series.

doubters doubters doubters!! game isn’t over yet cuz i know if we lose i’ll be too upset to be positive but… wanted to remind all you Perez doubters how MONEY he was tonight… let’s hope we can wrap this up. Let’s Go Mets!!!
