No matter what has happened he will be the Mets' closer for the entire playoffs. In Billy's NY Post column he said he wouldn't have given up the runs if the game was on the line. He wanted the batters to get themselves out or something like that. I don't buy it. A shaky outing is a shaky outing. I'd rather hear an apology for giving us a heart attack and have him come out tonight and go 1-2-3 if the game is on the line.
