Welcome to Amazin’ Moments, the un-official New York Mets Baseball Podcast. This is where fans of the New York Mets pro baseball team get their fix.
I’ve been a lifelong Mets fan. I grew up just a few miles from Shea Stadium and have experienced all the ups and downs of the last 30 years of Mets baseball.
Now you can get involved via this podcast. I’ll be recording posts that you can listen to in order to get my perspective on the New York Mets baseball team. You can talk back now by commenting on the podcasts and writing your own blog posts about the Mets on our social network at www.iheartmets.com.
Lets Go Mets!

When Wagner comes into a game it’s beginning to become like playing with fireworks… do somethign wrong and the whole thing blows up in your face… I hope we won’t have to use him tonite because our lead is like 10+ runs

Billy convinced me during the 2nd half of the season… I have confidence enough in him and the team. GO METS!!

I believe in Wagner. I don’t think he would have given up those runs had the lead been 2 runs.

I believe in Wagner even though he does scare me every time he gets the ball. When he pitches I always have a lump in my throat. 1 more to go and NOT in our house! Let’s go Mets!!!!!

It’s great to see that there’s a lot of support for Billy Wagner out there. No matter what has happened he will be the Mets’ closer for the entire playoffs.
In Billy’s NY Post column he said he wouldn’t have given up the runs if the game was on the line. He wanted the batters to get themselves out or something like that.
I don’t buy it. A shaky outing is a shaky outing. I’d rather hear an apology for giving us a heart attack and have him come out tonight and go 1-2-3 if the game is on the line.
