I like Milledge because it gives us at right handed bat. I don’t drink the cool aid that we can’t hit the lefties but it gives us some balance.

Milledge has proven he isn't ready to play in the Majors just yet. But, if it were him and Ledee i have to agree with you all. I also agree with Joe in that i also think it would be good to give him some playoff exposure. But cleary, unless by a miracle, he won't be ready to step up in a big game situation (bottom of 9th, 2 out .....), but our choices are limited. Who knows, maybe he will suprise everyone and show up and really play like a gamer. Don't get your hopes up, but it could happen. Anyways, i like Milledge

I like Lastings in this spot... If he's going to be part of the future of this team, let's get him some playoff exposure now... Like John Maine stepping up when called upon, this could establish Milledge in the minds of Mets fans... Since he won't be asked to do too much, one big hit in a big spot could propel him to a nice career as a Met...

THREE DOWN, EIGHT TO GO... LET'S GO METS!

I'll take Milledge too. Even though he didn't perform well in the season, he's got all the tools to make that one big play that just might count in a big spot, like make a great catch or pinch run and steal a base. Or who knows, get that big hit.
