We shouldn't stop. Now that we've got three choices it'a bout time for a poll.

ok So I say we go with the whole Carribbean theme, as the Mets have a heavy influence from there, and go with "Don't Worry be Happy" by Bob Marley... it fits with how things are.. Sanchez gets hurt and we worry but not as much cause we're 12 games up... we need a pitcher, Don't worry Maine comes out of nowhere.. kinda fits but not very upbeat

Rob, congrats on the current podcast, having watched the game live on ESPN this morning (Australian time) it was great to then listen to your podcast from the same game. Great to get a little Shea atmosphere.

Good result too, hopefully David Wright is out of his little slump and terrific to see John Maine continue a great start to his Mets career.

PS: Looks like Floyd's Achilles Tendon is barking again so it looks like Chavez will join Beltran and Milledge in the outfield. Tom Glavine finally gets his 12th win.

I didn't hear that about LoDuca. Definitely fodder for discussion on the podcast.

As I was listening to Billy Wagner go through his latest heart attack inning today I thought that New Sensation by INXS would be a good tune. I swear I've heard the game at Shea a couple of times.

Being a guy who grew up in the 80s I'm likely to come up with these sorts of recommendations.

Anyone know why Paul LoDuca said no more interviews for the season??

This confuses me! He said it'd all be clear in a few days, but i'm dying to know

A real bummer tonight. Jose Reyes is hot but the rest of the team just can't seem to put it together.

I have a song for them to play when Heilman comes into the game - "Born To Be Wild." Also for Chad Bradford - "I Come From The Land Down Under" (A Men At Work song from about 20 years ago).

What about Anderson Hernandez? He's hitting .252 at Norfolk. I also hate to see Pedro get cheated out of a W in another good start.

Still looking for song ideas though. And I hate to say it but my ears are drawing a blank...so far. A friend just offered me a ticket to Sunday night's game so it looks like I'll have time to ponder the topic under the lights at Shea.

Sorry, no song ideas just now, but will definitely mull this one over. Just popped in to vent about someone who I think has gotten off pretty easily so far - Chris Woodward. I would rather have Franco with the flu than Woodward on his best day. Every time he comes up with runners on base I pray that he will strike out or pop up so he only costs us one out instead of two. He rarely obliges, instead choosing to slam the door on any Mets rallies rather consistently.

Surely we can find somebody better to take his spot on the roster. We need a bench worthy of a championship team - get Woody and Marrero out of there, pretty much anyone else batting north of .250 in AAA would be more helpful than either of them have been.
