I like Paul Lo Duca’s reaction to A-Rod if for no other reason than we need guys with fire in their gut. A-Rod acted like he hit this huge homer. Meanwhile it was his first big hit in over a month in a game that’s likely to decide nothing when all is said and done. And besides, everyone knew Soler was shot at that point anyway.

If you look at A-Rod’s grandslam against the Braves just prior to the Mets series, you can see how long it took him to get to first base.
I was amazed that he chose to act like a complete little leaguer in his home run against the Mets.
You hit the ball - run the bases.
