I think Bannister still is the best potential fifth (or fourth) starter from all the options. I'm surprised he is taking so long to come back after what was originally described a s a minor hamstring pull. I saw some press somewhere saying he is starting to throw off the mound. Both Soler and Hernandez should get another three or four starts before he is ready - at that time I hope Willie casts off whichever one is less consistent. i think I would take youth over experience at this point but what could we reasonably hope to get for Hernandez? Makes me wish we had Julio back.

Also I never even hear John Maine's name anymore, I doubt he will ever see the lights of Shea again.
