WOW what a great performance by El Duque. Hopefully this is a portent of things to come and not a random occurance.

OK, glad to eat my words regarding Orlando Hernandez - I still think it was a costly trade for us but it was an impressive outing last night.

I'm not too quick to call Milledge's promotion a great idea though - he definitely has some pop but the pressure of playing in New York seems to be getting to him already. I love the enthusiasm but with every hi five under such media and fan scrutiny the kid was on the verge of tears in the interview I saw yesterday. Crossing fingers that he has more strength of character than a prior Met who was called up too early, was great for three seasons then crashed and burned. Hint - last name was an ice cream flavor.

So in short I'm hoping Nady gets his spot back when he's healed and Lastings gets a bit more seasoning in AAA now that he's had a taste.

Props to Floyd for being so supportive of Lastings when other playters in his position might feel threatened. Even during his slump he was a great clubhouse leader, hoping his bat heats up when he's back in the lineup.

Alright. Great game by el dookay! That's the correct spelling btw.

It saddens me greatly to know that Floyd might not be here next season. I was arguing with a friend that we should get rid of Nady, put Milledge in Right and Floyd in Left. Floyd has been a tremendous inspiration to this team, and it kills me just thinking about it.

I hope we keep the momentum going. Beltran has FINALLY been earning his money, and Delgado is going to hit a 9 game hot streak.

D-Wright also, still smoking everyone and everything. He's been a phenom.

Let's see how we do tomorrow.
