Glavine Gets Support
Wow! Tom Glavine got some good support last night in his bid to be the first nine game winner in baseball. Nice to take the series from L.A. after dropping the one to S.F. over the weekend at home.
Seems like Lastings Milledge might make me eat my words from Sunday as far as him being ready for the big leagues now. With a couple of more hits last night including a home run, plus throwing out Garciaparra on big play late in the game. Lastings just might outlast Nady for the job in RF.
On to Arizona, where I happen to be right now. But I’m about 2 hours south of Phoenix and Chase Field which is formerly known as Bank One Ballpark or The BOB for short. Good riddance to L.A. Hopefully we can get Cliff Floyd and Jose Reyes back in time for the Phils series.
Gonna try to get a podcast in later today. Maybe I’ll wait till after tonight’s game which I should be able to catch on TV down here. Feel free to continue commenting in the interim here on the voice forum or on the comment phone line.
